Another tough day at the office for the Lions last weekend, after a week of training and hoping that this week would be the week we turn things around. Sadly it wasn't meant to be, since the start of the season Lions have lost a large number of players to long term injuries and with a small squad this can be particularly challenging.

Lions started off strong claiming the first points of the game with a conversion from Logan. Shortly after Logan Roberts came off with a shoulder injury which looks like it might be over for Logan this season.

After the first try from St Ives the floodgates opened as heads dropped from the Lions who were struggling to control the game and maintain possession. A glimmer of light was that 3 newly registered players this week turned up and put in a shift with very little knowledge of set piece etc. So a massive thank you to those who turned up and helped with the fight.
