The Rugby Lions are pleased to announce Jay Roberts as the new captain for the 2023/24 season.
Jay described the appointment as a privilege, saying " For me to lead 30+ men is beyond an honour. I'm privileged to continue to wear the Rugby Lions badge and ultimately help bring this club where it should be. 20+ years of hard graft and effort has been worth it!"
Back coach Mike Howes added, "Jay has been a pleasure to coach (sometimes asking too many questions) and I'm proud to announce him as our club captain for this year. I'm sure he will be leading us to victory."
